- To advocate for all students and aim to make them feel included, engaged, and sae in our school community
- To raise the standards of home life
- To advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth
- To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth
- To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth
- To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding

New Background Check and Training Requirements:
In alignment with California State Assembly Bill 506, effective July 1, 2025, ALL volunteers will be required to complete a Livescan fingerprint background check, as well as mandated reporter and sexual harassment prevention training to be eligible to volunteer for the 2025-26 school year. Once fingerprinted for SRVUSD, volunteers will not need to repeat the process in future years.

Current Level 3 volunteers cleared through BAM: no action is required for the background check. Annual online training is required, and a current DMV driving report must be uploaded.
- Current Level 1 and 2 volunteers: You will receive an email from BAM prompting you to complete the new requirements.
