Dear Quail Run Families and Students,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Quail Run Elementary School! Whether you are returning to our school or joining our Explorer family for the first time, I am honored to serve as your new principal and I am excited to begin this journey with you.
Quail Run is a truly special place because of its dedicated staff, outstanding students, supportive families, and strong sense of community. Together, we are committed to creating a school where every child feels safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. We believe that when students feel connected, supported, and engaged, they thrive both academically and personally.
I would also like to share a little bit about myself. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of serving students and families in a variety of roles, having gained site- and district-level experience. Most recently, I served as an Assistant Principal in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Prior to that, I worked as a Coordinator of Student Services, supporting schools, students, and families from TK through 12th grade, and spent many years as a school counselor before becoming an administrator. These experiences have reinforced my belief that strong relationships, meaningful collaboration, and a focus on the whole child are the foundation of successful schools.
As the parent of two elementary-aged daughters, I understand the trust families place in their school each day. Outside of work, you'll often find me cheering on my daughters at dance competitions or spending time with my family. Those experiences remind me of the importance of creating a school where every student has the opportunity to thrive, every family feels welcomed, and every staff member feels supported in the incredible work they do every day.
I believe the strongest schools are built through partnerships. I am excited to get to know our Explorer families and work alongside you to provide an exceptional experience for every student. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, questions, and feedback as we continue to make Quail Run an outstanding place to learn and grow. Together, we will create a school year filled with learning, growth, kindness, and joyful memories.
